Description
‘A present for my mother’ said the card, apparently sent by a boy who had been missing for years and whom everyone except his mother, the famous actress Rachel Esthart, believed to have been long dead. But the card was only the beginning. The bodies came later. Presents delivered by the River Thames.
The year was 1946, and a bombed, rationed, but optimistic South London district by the river was recovering from the war and looking forward to a royal visit. In this context a triple murderer is on the loose.
