The General’s death left his anti-communist newsletter, Intercom, without an owner. And Carter, the cynical author of the paper, was only too pleased to accept the prompt offer from Herr Arnold Bloch, Everything would continue as it always had, with the inclusion of a few minor messages for Herr Bloch’s clients in the arms trade.
Then the CIA and the KGB started taking a personal interest in Intercom – and Carter found out that Bloch’s messages were not as innocent as they appeared…
